Hi – there’s a link to pre-titles mp3 above πŸ™‚

The beginning of PRetitles is really pretty, but, in the programme, the beginning was elongated into a whole song. Where can I listen to the whole song of it?

Most of the Gypsy music is pretty short I’m afraid – it was written for a specific scene so I never did write a longer version.
Thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian,
I really like your music music. I was wondering what type of Accordion you use – it sounds great.
Thanks
Ryan

Reply

thanks Ryan I have a 12 bass dibora, but majority of the score was samples played from a controller sampled from an Alfred Arnold Bandoneon from 1930s (Best Service Accordions – sampled instrument library).

Ian your music is beautiful mate. You’ve got that gift of marrying what’s on screen to what we hear. It creates this real emotional resonance that few composers are capable of. You’re right up there with Portman, Elfman and Horner.

Hi, what’s the namn of the song in the beginning of some episodes of My big fat american gypsy wedding? It’s not the song “My big fat american gypsy wedding”. It may be the song that Manganoid was searching for.

The song is not a slow song, it’s more like a party-song.

By the way, your music is the best!

Thanks Coralena – yes it’s available on itunes. Inspiration – actually strangely enough more Jewish than anything else, but with accordion and fiddle as featured instruments gives it more of a gypsy feel.
